Measure from the edge of one shoulder across the back to the edge of the other shoulder. Keep the tape straight and horizontal.

Measure around the upper chest just below the armpits, keeping the tape horizontal across the back and front.

Measure around the fullest part of your chest/bust, keeping the tape horizontal. Keep arms relaxed at your sides.

Measure directly under the bust where your bra band sits, keeping the tape snug but not tight around your ribcage.

Measure around your natural waistline — the narrowest point of your torso, usually above the belly button.

Stand with feet together. Measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, about 8 inches below your waist.

Measure from the natural waistline straight down to the desired hem length of the skirt.

Measure around the top opening of the skirt at the waistband. This is typically the same as or close to your waist measurement.
